About the SOCO Nupes
Founded in 1974, the Colorado Springs Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. stands as a proud and enduring pillar within the Colorado Springs community.
Achievement. Brotherhood. Service.
Established by visionary charter members who believed in achievement, service, and unity, the chapter quickly became known throughout Southern Colorado as the Rocky Mountain Nupes.
The chapter’s early foundation reflected the national fraternity’s commitment to Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor while creating a lasting presence among military leaders, professionals, educators, and community advocates throughout the Pikes Peak region.

More Than a Chapter
The word that unites all of us in Kappa Alpha Psi is Brotherhood. Brotherhood sets us apart from being simply a social club or a group of volunteers.
Each brother has earned his membership through hard work, dedication, and loyalty. That spirit has remained the defining force behind the Colorado Springs Alumni Chapter since 1974.
The bonds formed among the brothers extend far beyond meetings and events. Those relationships have created generations of mentorship, accountability, leadership, and lifelong commitment to one another and to the community.
