Kappa League
Training young men to lead, serve, achieve, and build a stronger future.
Kappa League is a subset of Guide Right, the National Service Initiative of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. The program provides educational, occupational, social, and leadership guidance for male students in grades 6 through 12.
Kappa League was created to help young men grow, receive support, and develop their leadership talents in every phase of human endeavor.
About Kappa League
Leadership Development Program
Kappa League began on February 12, 1969, through the Los Angeles Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. at Alain LeRoy Locke High School.
The program was adopted by the Grand Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in August 1970. Its founders were Mel L. Davis and Edgar H. Bishop.
Kappa League is a series of activities designed to help young male students develop leadership talents through challenging and rewarding experiences.
The program helps students achieve worthy goals for themselves and make constructive contributions to their communities.

Through mentorship, workshops, service, college preparation, career readiness, and student leadership activities, Kappa League prepares young men for responsibility and achievement.

Encourages community service, voter engagement, responsible citizenship, and local service work.

Builds aspiration through club activities, planning, execution, reporting, communication, and leadership practice.

Kappa League TV and Positive Vision
Kappa League TV gives young men a platform to tell stories of achievement and develop communication skills.
Through projects, public speaking, social media engagement, reporting, and organized activities, students learn how to plan, execute, communicate, and lead.
The Colorado Springs Alumni Chapter can use this model to strengthen youth voice, confidence, presentation skills, and leadership presence.
